A Boy Called Dad - World Premiere
Made Up North's debut feature film A Boy Called Dad had its world premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on 18 June.
The film was screened in a prestigious slot on the second night of the programme, with stars Ian Hart and Kyle Ward, director Brian Percival and writer Julie Rutterford in attendance.
The film has been nominated for the Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature Film and the festival's Audience Award, as well as being selected for the 'Best of the Fest' list. Kyle Ward has also been selected for the festival's Trailblazer showcase of its hottest new talents.
Kyle and Ian Hart were interviewed by Mark Kermode on BBC Five Live on 19 June, and the film has also attracted coverage north of the border by The Scotsman, Big Issue Scotland, the Daily Record and the Scottish Sunday Mail.
